Keeping Track Of Quad Bike Theft

Cumbria Police have been offering a series of quad bike security marking events using SelectaDNA.

This has been funded by the Cumbria Police & Crime Commissioner following a spike in crime targeting the off-road vehicles.

The first event was held at Mitchell’s Auction Mart in Cockermouth, where local farmers go to buy livestock.

Police are also offering appointments to visit farms and give security advice.
